Dabbl is a five-letter word guessing game. You have six attempts to identify the secret word. Colour-coded tiles give you feedback after each guess to help you narrow it down.
Each guess must be a valid five-letter English word. Type your guess using your keyboard or tap the on-screen letters, then press Enter to submit. After submitting, each tile changes colour to show how close you were.
A new word is available every day. Solve it to keep your streak alive and earn tokens. The fewer guesses you use, the more tokens you receive. Solve it in one guess and earn six tokens; solve it in six and earn one. Maintain a seven-day streak for a bonus five tokens, and a thirty-day streak for a bonus twenty tokens.
Practice mode lets you play extra games outside the daily challenge. Each practice game costs one token. You can also unlock themed word packs — Food, Travel, Tech, and Nature — to play with curated vocabulary sets. Win practice games to earn tokens back.
Spend tokens in the shop to buy Hints, which reveal a correct letter on the board, Undo Tokens, which let you remove your last guess in practice mode, and Streak Freezes, which protect your daily streak if you miss a day. Use them strategically — they're limited and cost tokens to replenish.
Unlock colour themes from the shop to change how your tiles look. Choose from Ocean Blue, Forest Green, Sunset Pink, Royal Purple, and Fire Red. The classic amber theme is always free.
After completing a game, tap Share to send your coloured grid to friends — no spoilers, just the pattern. You can also send a Challenge link so a friend plays your word head-to-head, and sign in to sync your streak and stats across devices.
